As can be seen briefly in the News bulletin, the club is continuing to improve its facilities by gearing up for an improved, hard-surface pathway leading to the main shooting areas from the club house. This area of ground is prone to flooding in times of heavy rain (frequently it would seem then) and the club has had problems in the past providing safe (and mud free!) access from the club house. Plans are in place to put down a solid pathway that is adequate for the members needs. The path is also being extended right up to the front of the club house providing more space for outdoor seating and smokers.

This improvement proves that DVGC is continually thinking about its members needs and putting money back into the club to provide comfortable, safe surroundings. Thanks to those who carried out the first stages of the pathway improvement (and also to those who provided encouragement from the sidelines!)
